House Tamboerskloof, Cape Town

The brief was to gut all three levels of this home, set some 40 meters up from the access road. It was renovated, creating a two bedroomed residence on the upper levels and a two bedroomed apartment on the lower level.

Construction included an additional wing for the kitchen and laundry, and refurbishing the swimming pool, including a glass panel to let light in from the pool to the home office. A new funicular was installed to service the house from street level. Project manager - Mark de Swardt
